My car was not firing on a cylinder. The computer check showed up cylinder No 3 but, further investigation showed it was the Electronic Control Unit which was faulty, and identified this very quickly

The car was held by BMW uk as there was a tech problem that had to be sorted .While JKC were excellent with lending me a car,I was the told 10 days later that the car could be released as BMW had decided that it was not an immediate problem
